Interactive maps, route planners, and applications around mobility. I take on your project completely: consulting, concept, implementation, and long-term support.
Discuss your projectYou want to bring a map to the web, build a route planner for your customers, launch a tourism or transport application, or test a prototype. But you don't have a tech team and don't know how to get started.
I take care of it: I listen, understand what you need, and build it. You don't have to worry about technical details.
What you get:
Where it fits, I use freely available software (e.g., OpenStreetMap instead of Google Maps). That saves license costs and keeps you independent. When a project needs skills beyond my area, I bring in specialists from my network. The responsibility stays with me.
Maybe your map or mobility application is outdated, too slow, or hard to extend. Maybe the previous developer has moved on. Or the license costs for your map provider have become a problem.
I look at what's there, explain what makes sense, and fix it. Without jargon, with clear recommendations.
What I take care of:
Software needs maintenance, otherwise it ages fast. Map and data applications even more so: data sources change, providers adjust their terms, security issues emerge. Many of my clients stay on after the project — they know they can call me when something isn't right or new requirements come up.
I also take over existing software from other developers or teams and continue its development.
What I handle long-term:
The goal: stable operations without nasty surprises.
Some projects need skills beyond software development: design, copywriting, domain expertise. I have a network of freelancers I bring in when needed.
Nothing changes for you: you still have one point of contact. I coordinate the collaboration and take responsibility for the result.
My focus is on applications around maps, routes, locations, and mobility. These topics have shaped my work for years — own projects and client work alike: route planners, rating platforms, data visualizations around transport and the transportation transition. I know which solutions work in practice.
You come with an idea or a problem. I ask questions, understand the context, and explain what makes sense. Then I build it.
You have one point of contact who thinks along and takes responsibility.
Tell me about your project. Whether it's a new idea or an existing application: I'm happy to help.
