QGIS is my tool for spatial analysis, data preparation, and quick visualizations outside the browser. I use it to prepare data for web applications, to quality-check OSM and Overture data, and for spatial analyses in client projects — from address geocoding to evaluating movement data.

Where QGIS Comes Into Play in My Projects

Quality assurance of OpenStreetMap and Overture data before import into a production database. Preparation of map layers for MapLibre applications. Spatial analyses for client reports: accessibility, population distribution, transport infrastructure, location assessments.

QGIS complements the web-oriented tools in my work (PostGIS, MapLibre, Valhalla) with a strong desktop component for analysis and data preparation.
