Established JavaScript library for lightweight, raster-based web maps.
Leaflet is the oldest established web mapping library — lightweight, well documented, with a large plugin ecosystem. For simple maps without high performance requirements, Leaflet is often the most pragmatic choice. I take on Leaflet projects as well as migrations to MapLibre when vector-based maps, custom styles, or higher performance are desired.

Leaflet suits classical maps with markers, simple data layers, and manageable requirements. As soon as it's about vector maps, custom styling, large datasets, 3D, or high performance, I recommend MapLibre — more modern, WebGL-based, with better styling control.
Both paths deliver production-ready results — what matters is what the project actually needs. I give honest advice on which library fits better.
Development of new Leaflet applications, integration of existing plugins, connection to APIs and data sources, maintenance and further development of existing maps. When needed, migration to MapLibre, including restyling and adaptation of data layers.
Need a Leaflet application, or a migration of an existing map? I help with both.
